How Elara Send protects your delivery.

Effective 18 October 2026 · Version 1.1

At a glance

Delivery links are private, expire on the date chosen by the sender and can be revoked. Add a password when a separate access check matters.

Original files and access

Uploads are checked against their declared size and checksum. A prepared file is restored and its original checksum checked before a recipient can download it. Files and upload parts are scoped to the sending account. A recipient receives short lived download authorisation after the delivery access check. Revocation blocks new download authorisation. A previously authorised download can remain available for up to 60 seconds, and a stream already started may continue.

Accounts and payments

Connections use HTTPS. Account passwords and delivery passwords are stored as hashes. Sign in cookies use the authentication system’s secure session controls. Card details are entered on Stripe’s pages.

Service providers

Hosting, storage, identity and payment providers support the service. See Privacy for the information used by each category.

Service access

Open service checks for the latest application, delivery record and file storage responses. Help covers interrupted uploads and recipient downloads.

Report a security concern

Email hello@elara-cortex.com. Include the affected page and the steps to reproduce the issue. Keep customer files, passwords and private links out of the report unless we arrange a secure way to share them.
